This was our first trip to Paris and the apartment was fantastic. It was so well located and next to such an amazing array of food vendors, especially the cheese shop! We got engaged on our trip and definitely plan on returning and we're sending our friends to stay at this apartment. Thanks again for everything. Take care. Hi,
Just a quick line to say how much I am enjoying your apartment. Weather in Paris is perfect (so far), and looks set to continue for a while. This is such a great place to be.
Best wishes. Sally H. / London, UK (August 2007)
This is the nicest apartment i've stayed in as a regular short term resident of Montmartre!

By the way, the apartment is just lovely! I have been having such a nice time here. My parents are already planning to book your apartment for their trip here next year if it is available and I have sent the link to your website to all of my friends. I love Montmartre - such a nice area and away from the hustle and bustle of the more densely packed areas. Thanks for all of your help and for making this such a nice vacation. Alice M. / Austin, Texas, USA (March 2008)
Thank you so much for the use of your lovely apartment and such a great neighborhood too. I certainly always felt safe and so convenient to the laundromat and grocery. I completely enjoyed my stay there. Celia F. / Wilmington, N. Carolina, USA (April 2008)
We had a great time at the studio in Montmartre, this is a wonderful place in a beautiful neighborhood. We were thinking that it is great to have the comfort “à l’Américaine” (clean, great shower, plug adapters etc) with the European cachet! We will certainly pass the word around and come back one day, soon I hope!

Our guests Jake & Mo have written about their stay in our apartment on their blog Paris and Beyond in France. The blog is a great collection about their observations and experiences in France and a good source of information. We recommend that you take a look. Our Paris adventure was a huge success! Thank you for the use of your apartment. It was perfect for us and it is truly a room with a view. We had perfect Summer weather and our stay including watching the full moon rise over the Sacre Coeur each night. That was a bonus. We loved being part of the Montmartre neighborhood.
Thank you for all your tips and suggestions too. Your directions and instructions were all easy to follow and helped make things go smoothly. I especially liked the post it note reminding us to take the key each time we left ~ LOL. We did double check every time we left too.
We took 777 photos! We loved using the metro and were really pleased to have goten the one week navigo cards which cover the buses too. I wish we had brought 2 passport sized photos along with us, as we had to pay 4 euros each to get pictures at the photomaton instead. Live and learn. We loved the Velib bicycle system and highly recommend it. We could have gotten that attached to our Navigo cards too but did not realize in advance. Instead we chose a one day card for 1 euro each and since we returned the bikes in under 30 minutes (each trip) there was no additional charge. It was great fun riding the bikes through the streets of Paris. Our pointers are to examine the bikes closely before choosing as there were two with flat tires , one missing a pedal, and one with terribly loose handle bars. It seems the Parisians park the faulty bikes and will spin the seat 180 degrees as a way of identifying it as defective. The ones we rode were great. The baskets are big and the bell is useful too. The bus was easy too and we enjoyed riding the 95 line. When we got off we enjoyed a great lunch at Le Bizuth on Place Saint Germain des Pres.
We ended up looking into the links you forwarded us on running and decided that we would take the metro to the Jardin du Luxembourg for our run. We did see runners here and there on the streets but they look somewhat out of place. It's definitely not New York. We preferred to make the trip from Lamarck and run with the other runners. It was worth it. We did three laps around the perimeter path (probably a bit over 4 miles) and there were many other runners to feel at home with. Afterwards we walked through the interior of the garden at a much slower pace. We cooled down and enjoyed the wonderful gardens.
We wore our feet and legs out completely everyday. Each morning we woke up refreshed and ready to tackle a new day. It was grand !
On Sunday we had the great experience of joining Jim Haynes at his Montparnasse apartment for his weekly soirée. We had heard all about Jim "inviting the world to dinner" on 'This I Believe' show from NPR (National Public Radio) over the Winter. It Made an impression on both of us so once we chose Paris as our destination we emailed him to reserve our spots. We are so glad we did. It was a wonderful evening. We met many people from many places. Here is the link to the program if it interests you (http:/www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=99172304). You won't be disappointed.
Thank you again for the part you played in helping us choose Paris (Barcelona may be next year and for having your apartment be the place where we could make our adventures happen from.
With gratitude
